The model dermatology center Skin and Hair Medical Care is located in Glyfada and was founded in 2008 by the distinguished dermatologist – venereologist Dr. S. Theocharis, former Director of the Dermatology Clinic at the 251 General Air Force Hospital.
At Skin and Hair Medical Care, services are provided by experienced dermatologists and physicians, trained nursing staff, as well as professionals in aesthetic applications and cosmetology. The operation of the center is supported by a highly qualified administrative team, while the marketing and communications department ensures excellent promotion and visibility of our services.

MEDICAM 1000
The new ATBM® II system, available at the Skin and Hair Medical Care clinic, allows recording and detailed analysis of the skin and moles, saving time and creating images of exceptional quality that assist in diagnosing new or changed clinical lesions. This system is the FotoFinder standard for safety in the early detection of skin cancer.
The initial ATBM® Automated Total Body Mapping process helps diagnose melanoma using the "two-step digital monitoring method." It includes a smart combination of digital dermoscopy and full body mapping! The system features the Medicam 1000 camera, which captures images with absolute clarity in dermoscopy. It combines excellent quality with even greater ease of use and lightness, optimized for the new precision optical system D-Scope IV.
It is the most modern and reliable tool for mole mapping, body mapping, trichoscale, and detection of clinical skin changes. The high-resolution Medicam camera and the advanced Foto Finder Dermoscope Dynamic software allow microscopic examination of moles with magnification, comparison of the clinical image with previous captures, as well as the identification of new lesions and changes.
The CO2 laser (carbon dioxide laser) is a surgical laser used invasively for skin lesions. The results are immediate, bloodless, and with excellent healing. The High Power Pixel 2940 belongs to fractional lasers and is intended for minimally invasive rejuvenation treatments. The Smartxide Touch / RF is a state-of-the-art laser designed for use in both dermatologic surgery and aesthetic medicine. Its innovative combined action of CO2 laser with radiofrequency (RF) targets the face, neck, décolleté, and periocular area, aiming to correct unwanted signs of aging such as wrinkles and skin laxity through rapid collagen regeneration.
The Arion Laser Alexandrite system is the most effective and fastest method for hair removal, based on the principle of selective photothermolysis. It uses light that penetrates the epidermis and is selectively absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicles. It operates at a wavelength of 755nm, which is absorbed more effectively by melanin and is also suitable for darker skin types. All modern systems are FDA-approved for long-term epilation, not for permanent results.

Cryolipolysis (Cooltech) is a non-invasive and painless procedure aimed at reducing localized fat. This is achieved by cooling the fatty tissue down to -8°C, with the purpose of breaking down and eliminating it. The procedure lasts 60 minutes and is specialized for areas with localized fat such as the lower back, inner and outer thighs, abdomen, and the back of the arms.
It is a cold air cooling system that helps minimize pain and thermal injury during laser and dermatological treatments. It cools the skin before, during, and after the laser application without coming into direct contact with the skin, unlike cooling sprays or ice packs. This way, any skin damage is avoided.
The PRP Centri is an essential device in the application process of autologous PRP mesotherapy, which is applied to the scalp, face, and body and is based on a simple blood draw. The Ecopeel device targets deep skin cleansing, promoting regeneration and gentle removal of dead skin cells from the epidermis. The application with Ecopeel helps the skin produce collagen and elastin on its own, thus enabling regeneration. Ecopeel provides excellent results without the need for home recovery, redness, or discoloration. The treatment is performed at the dermatologist’s office and does not require anesthesia. The device sprays microcrystals onto the skin surface and immediately removes them by suction. The microcrystals are sterile and single-use.
