Cellulite treatment with LPG
What is the LPG body treatment?

The LPG lipomassage – Cellu M6 Alliance is a non-invasive and painless procedure, designed to sculpt the body and redistribute fat cells. This is achieved through mechanical stimulation during the treatment. The LPG Endermologie treatment is a certified medical procedure approved by the FDA (Food & Drug Administration).

Over time, there is a natural decline in collagen levels within the tissues. The skin loses its density, resulting in gradual laxity and thinning. With the advanced medical LPG device, which features specialized dual-roller heads that apply simultaneous compression and suction on the targeted area, and with electronically controlled action, the treatment stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation, reduces the volume of fat cells, and enhances the production of collagen and elastin. The latest-generation Alliance head further enhances the method’s efficacy, simultaneously providing cellulite smoothing, centimeter loss, localized fat reduction, and skin firming.

Everything you need to know
1
LPG Treatment Action

Through a series of protocols, the lipomassage slimming treatment (Endermologie) offers targeted solutions to various concerns. Utilizing the LPG systems, the treatment aims to:

  • Activate lipolysis, targeting localized fat deposits that are resistant to exercise and diet.
  • Stimulate fibroblasts and tighten the dermal tissue, while reinforcing the collagen and elastin fiber structure.
  • Smooth out cellulite and improve the appearance of “orange peel” skin.
  • Eliminate toxins and reduce fluid retention.
  • Enhance lymphatic circulation and increase microcirculation.
  • Support recovery after liposuction in the areas of the buttocks, thighs, waist, and abdomen.
2
Application of LPG treatment for medical reasons

LPG treatment is also performed for medical purposes, including:

  • Edema and lymphedema of the upper and lower limbs
  • Postoperative use and fibrosis
  • Poor vascular circulation
  • Fibromyalgia
3
Who is LPG treatment for

LPG liposculpting is suitable for all body types. Specifically for:

  • Android type, where fat accumulation is focused in the abdominal area, with a slimmer lower body.
  • Gynoid type, where fat is concentrated from the waist down, in the buttocks and thighs.
  • Any body type that requires an overall approach to improve body contour and the appearance of cellulite.

Which areas of the body can be treated with LPG?

The device offers targeted programs for the treatment of cellulite and localized fat in nearly all areas of the body. LPG treatment can be applied to the following areas:

  • Arms
  • Stomach
  • Abdomen – love handles
  • Buttocks
  • Back
  • Waist
  • Thighs
  • Calves

Recommended Sessions

Typically, 10–20 sessions are recommended, though this number may be adjusted depending on individual needs. Sessions are performed 1 to 2 times per week and usually last 30–35 minutes. Depending on the severity of the concern, treatment may span 2.5 to 3 months. Initial signs of improvement are often observed after 5–6 sessions.

However, according to the DERMSCAN Endermologie® study (2016), just 3 sessions can lead to a 71% improvement in skin quality, making the skin visibly firmer and more toned. Cellulite smoothing may improve by 67%, lymphatic circulation can increase by up to 400%, and after 12 sessions, waist circumference may be reduced by up to 5 cm.

For optimal results, it is recommended to continue with maintenance therapy, performing 1–2 sessions per month. Additionally, combining lipomassage with other related treatments—such as radiofrequency (e.g., Accent), cryolipolysis, mesotherapy, or thread lifting—is advised.

This body treatment, like all those offered in our clinic, is always recommended in conjunction with a balanced, mindful diet and mild physical activity. We often suggest aerobic exercise immediately after each session to enhance the lymphatic drainage of toxins and fatty acids released during the lipomassage.

Moreover, no downtime is required after treatment.

6
Contraindications – Limitations

LPG lipomassage – Endermologie is generally a safe and non-invasive procedure. There are no significant side effects associated with the use of LPG devices. However, caution is advised in cases where there are pre-existing surgical scars or varicosities in the treatment areas.

7
Strict contraindications for the Endermologie® technique include:
    • Active cancer
    • Infection or skin rash
    • Diseases with inflammatory components
    • Anticoagulant therapy
    • Hematological disorders

Individuals with hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus, or those undergoing long-term corticosteroid therapy tend to respond less effectively to these treatments.

In any case, thorough patient briefing, continuous supervision, and medical oversight of the treatment process ensure both optimal results and high patient satisfaction.
